To the Nesbit Family,
Maxine you have my deepest sympathy. I remember the boys coming in the shop to pick you up sometimes and Drew was always smiling and joking about something. I know he will be greatly missed. But lean not on your own understanding, God will take you through. A couple of day after hearing about your son,my mother-in-law also passed. So im trying to swallow my own words of encouragement, but God is able to pull you through. Keep the faith

To the Nesbitt Family and Friends,
My deepest sympathy goes out to everyone at this time. Andrew was my buddy in High school c/o 01’. Bryan, Larry, Andrew, and I at times were like a lil group. We hung out and just enjoyed each others company. Also Andrew and I were in the Gospel choir together and as it was mentioned before he loved to sing and bring attention to himself. He would always try to out sing everyone…you know Christy S., Crystal B, and Edna B. to name a few. Every time I hear Total Praise and How Excellent I would smile and think of him. That was the song the gospel choir sang at graduation and at gospel concerts. He would always keep you laughing and there was never a dull moment when he was around. All you had to do is look at him and either he smiled and you laugh or vice versa. We both also worked in Citadel mall at least I think he worked there..He was always there. The meeting place was at Bryans –down the street. Hearing that he was gone hurt my heart and it even brought some tears. I said, “Not my Andrew”…then the reminiscing started and there was NEVER a bad thing I could think of pertaining to him. He would always IM me on yahoo..he kept in contact even when he was going out of the country for his job, I think it was a magazine or something…he was always a busy body. It has taken me some time just to say a few words because when I think about the situation I get sad all over again. Knowing he is in a better place and not in this drastic world has lifted my spirits. Everyone is in my thoughts and prayers. Be safe and stay motivated in anything that you do.

To the Nesbitt Family:
From our bus rides to and from GAT to step team practices and performances, Andrew was always a joy to be around. He knew how to make you laugh, but would give you a piece of his mind, if necessary; you could only love him for his honesty. It truly hurts to know that he is gone. While I am not certain how to fully express my condolences, please know that I will continue to pray for your family during this period in your lives. This is a time for the family to unite and find strength in both each other and Jesus Christ.
Blessings,

Hey Andrew! You may not be here in body but you are here in spirit! We may not have been the best of friends when we attended GAT together but you were someone I could talk to. We did share a lot of laughs together and your smile was so big and contagious that you couldn't help but smile with you. I will never forget your smile! You're in a better place now where your smiling face belongs. Sitting the highest above all rejoicing with the Lord. When it was time to be serious you were the last person to be considered a "CLASS CLOWN"! You had a lovable personality and I will never forget you and my heart and prayers got out to your family. I know your hearts are full and you must cry, but just be patient, and we will understand it better bye and bye. As you wait near the Eastern Gate, Andrew will meet you in the morning. In meet Andrew at GAT. He always had a positive attitude and had jokes that kept you laughing. Andrew was a great friend and a very- talent person. I’m deeply saddened that we have lost our dear friend. Looking at the remarks everyone wrote about him shows that he had touched everyone in a special way. I leave this prayer for his family and friends: I pray that God sends the comforter to you that will abide with you forever. Keeping the great memories of Andrew’s life and spirit alive. Knowing that Andrew is in a better place where there’s no wars, hurt or want gives me a comforting peace. Andrew will be missed.

Family
The day I met Andrew, I fell in love with this very energetic young man. His personality was magnificent! I called him my adopted son. I introduced him to my family and immediately the feelings was mutual. He keep my daughter and I laughing every time we met. We called him the Banana Republic and Gap man. Andrew was jovial, peaceful and kind hearted, sometimes a little too trusting, but this was his personality. He loved people. I can't remember a day Andrew did not have you feeling joyful. After he graduated from GAT, Andrew did not forget me. He was faithful, dedicated and a proud member of the ETS program. He continued to recruit for his ETS program. One day he called me and wanted to know if Cierra joined the program and my response was, "no, not at this time". He said "let me call her right now". I don't have to tell you, Cierra became a member of ETS. He looked forward to traveling with the group. He kept the group in check (as he would say). I can remember these words as if is was yesterday, "Ms. Green, I got your back". He would remind the group, "Ya'll don't want to see the other side of Ms.Green". Well, it worked. Andrew kept up with me (NC & VA.) He always wanted me to know what he was doing. When he called the first words he spoke was "Ms.Green, what are you doing"? I knew it was my Andrew. These were the first words that came to mind when I heard of his passing. I mourn today with the family. I am so very grateful that God allowed me to have met this wonderful young man whom I so grew so fondly of and will always remember him. I will keep your family in my prayers. He may be absent in the flesh but his memories will forever live in our hearts and minds.
Please do not hesitate to call me if you need, at anytime.
With much heartfelt love,
Ms. Green, ETS Program Coordinator

To the Nesbitt Family:
I am deeply saddened by the passing of Andrew. As a teacher for over thirty years, there were many students with whom I came in contact, and it is often difficult to remember every thing about a student, but then comes a student like Andrew. I remember the face, the smile, the sense of humor, his talent, and what a kind and loving person Andrew was. He will be missed, but be blessed in knowing that "Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal." My prayers are with his family and friends and the GAT family who loved him as dearly as I.

To The Family:
Andrew was a very mannerable and kind young man. I first met him when I taught at R.D. Schroder Middle School. Andrew, not knowing at first that I knew Ted and Maxine, seemed to have attached himself to me immediately. But when he found out that I was a friend and acquintance of his parents, he really began to pester me.
I last spoke with Andrew some months ago when we both attended a family member's funeral in Florida; he was the same Andrew, ill, but still his joyously pestering self.
I loved Andrew, and I know that he cared for me as well; therefore, I grieve today as a parent who has lost a son.
Andrew (Ted)/(Maxine), and Maxine, please take comfort in knowing that your love and prayers, along with those of others is what kept little Andrew going.
Right now as I pray for you, and you pray for yourselves, know that God is caressing you in his loving and soverign arms.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Each day is a new beginning given by God
I am reminded how blessed I am as this road I tread.
A new friendship comes to mind and it is my treasure.
Watching a child at play is my greatest pleasure.
Being able to help a fallen soul will
be my greatest joy.
Watching a bird build a nest while the
world searches for rest.
I am reminded I am only a small part of his plan.
When skies are blue or gray you are always there beside me.
I am reminded of God's love at the site
of a rainbow after the rain.
When I see the flag I'm reminded of the
freedoms I share.
I remember God's love to me when I
suffer much pain.
As the clowns come to town I am grateful I'm able to laugh.
I'll share your heavy load to let you
know I care.
I am reminded day by day we have much to share.
