To: Andrew/Andy aka PeeWee
After our mother died,I was taken by another Aunt and raised in New York.Due to circumstances we never got to know each other. I always heard that I had 2 cute little twin brothers in Charleston, SC.I met you as an adult when you came to my house in Queens for a whirlwind holiday weekend to party with our sister Vivian who was living in Charleston at the time. We didn't get a chance to bond, talk or share childhood memories. We have spoken over the phone maybe 3 times since then. Your sudden demise came as a shock to everyone. Rest in peace my baby brother. I never got to know you or even tell you that I loved you. My condolences to all of your family and friends whose life you touched.

Uncle Andrew
I'm glad that I got the chance to meet you. But I wish that you could have met my daughter Kayla. My Dad tells stories about all his Brothers & Sisters. I even heard stories about you & Uncle Anthony(Your Twin brother)all the time. I heard so many stories that if I didn't meet you it was like I did from all the stories he told. It's funny to me to know that you aren't my dad's twin since to me you favor my dad alot. I'm so sad that you had to go so soon but I guess it was your time even if it was sudden. Uncle Andrew the stories will always keep you with us forever. Rest In Peace Uncle Andrew
Love your Niece,

For My Uncle Andrew
I didn't get the chance to meet you but I'm your grandniece Kayla. I heard so much about you along with a lot of other stories when you were growning up in South Carolina from my Grandpa Walter your brother. I'm so sad that you had to go before I had the chance to meet you but as long as I keep hearing stories it will always seem that you are still here with us.
Love, Kayla

To my father and friend, Andy. You will forever be in my heart. You were with me for such a short time, over 20 years, but I treasure every day we spent. I remember you bringing me back to campus at Dillard University every Monday morning and every Monday we were late. You'd look over at me pouting and say, "Darling, my truck can't go any faster."
I appreciated you being there for everything- from all of my graduations, my confirmation, my birthdays, various ceremonies, holidays, my move to Maryland, my most recent graduation from Georgetown University. YOU WERE ALWAYS THERE- loving me unconditionally. For that, I thank you! I am so grateful for having you and I thank God that you knew how much I appreciated, loved and cared for you.
My last joyous memory of you will be the Saturday before God returned you to heaven. You called me to say again said how much you appreciated your Father's Day card. That means so much to me. When you get the heaven, kiss Grams for me and you two may even play a little bingo.
For your love, kindness, and crazy, but funny stories, I LOVE YOU and miss you dearly.

My dearest and only father, I will miss you so much. Even though we were miles apart I always kept you close in my heart and thoughts. I often worried about you but nevertheless I knew you were a strong man. Such a good and kind man with a big heart. I was blessed to have such a wonderful father and person in my life. I know you are in heaven now looking down on all of us. Tell my mom I love her too, so very much. It is already such a difficult time for me and losing you has made it even more difficult. I try not to question God but one has to wonder why things happen the way they do. You always told me that no matter what you would be there and you kept every single word. I often thought about the times we shared when I was a child and think about them even more now that you are gone. You called me Baby Top and Doll and I can hear you saying it just like it was yesterday. Years may have put distance between us but you made sure you were still a part of my life and my dad. I am grateful to have met my extended family, wish it could have been under better circumstances but yet I am still thankful. We all have 1 thing in common and that was the love for you. I smile because I know you are walking with the King. I love you and miss you!

To the family and friends of Andrew, it seems odd to say Andrew because for 8 hrs. a day I knew him as RC24. I could see him now with that hat on coming to work. Always sticking it by the Security Podium so he wouldn't forget. And of course lots of times he would almost forget it. RC24 left an impression on those he met. You met him once you would no doubt remember him. He always spoke his mind and for that he earned my respect. Always making sure everyone was okay. Always asking if you were alright. He was always the last of us to leave the parking lot to make sure everyone got off okay. I tried waiting him out once I got tired of waiting so I left and he was right behind me. I will keep RC24 and you all in my prayers day and night. Be strong and keep in touch with the Lord. Good night RC24.

Andrew,
This is strange for me to refer to you as Andrew as you have always been and always will be "Pee Wee" to me.I find it hard to believe that you would die of a heart problem because you had such a big heart when it came to your family and to everyone else. You were such a giving and caring person who dearly loved your family and in return they all loved you because of who you were. You may not have been rich monetarily but your heart and spirit were worth much more.We will miss you and will always love and remember our "Pee Wee".
