Andrew Maresca LAKE WYLIE, SC - Andrew Maresca of, Lake Wylie, SC, died Saturday, April 25, 2015, at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House, Rock Hill, SC. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 am Monday, April 27, 2015, at All Saints Catholic Church, Lake Wylie. The family will receive friends Monday from 10:30 to 11:00 am at the church. Mr. Maresca was born September 9, 1929, in Brooklyn, NY. He was preceded in death by his wife Eleanor Maresca and by his sister Ann Maresca. As a resident of Greenville, SC, Mr. Maresca helped start Greenville Literacy Program, Meals on Wheels, Operation Shoehorn, Mardi Gras supporting Right to Life, St. Mary's Member and Eucharistic Minister, Chaplin at St. Francis Hospital Greenville, SC and served on the Synod for the Diocese of Charleston. In Lake Wylie, he volunteered with Clover Caring Assistance Center (CAAC), Chaplin at Charlotte Douglas Airport, member of River Hills Lions Club and teacher for Catechism Class at All Saints Catholic Church. Survivors are his daughters Cynthia Boyle (John) of Campobello, SC, Sue Stall (Tommy) of Lake Wylie, SC, son Mark (Melissa) of Charleston, SC, brothers Louis Maresca and Robert Maresca, grandchildren: Lauren Maresca, Cole Boyle, Kathryn Maresca, Mary Steele, Elizabeth Stall, and Thomas Stall.
