DREW. There can be only one. I thank you for absolutely everything I have experienced during our 46 year relationship. Fifteen years of which were spent as your secretary at the Firm. My mentor. My friend. I miss you deeply and always will. You left us so unexpectedly. My condolences to all who knew and loved you so much. We all have countless stories to share and you will never be forgotten. I say goodbye with your signature correspondence closing: With kindest personal regards, I am, Andrew Kenneth Epting, Jr. AKE:sea
Rest in peace, Suzy

My thoughts and prayers are with family and friends of "Drew".
I worked for Wise&Cole when I met "Drew". I found him to be funny, intelligent and well-rounded.
The obituary is the epitome of "Drew". There will never be another Andrew Epting....may be RIP

Drew was sui generis. And my law school classmate and later a frequent foe. Very, very creative and excellent lawyer. May he rest in peace in French heaven.

Drew Epting was a true Renaissance Man but mostly a Humanitarian - he was kind and generous to everyone he met. He was a Joy to be around and a worthy adversary in the courtroom. Drew always made me think hard, work hard, laugh and encouraged more learning of love the Law in every appearance before me! He shared his love and thoughts through wonderful notes which I will always cherish - Thank you Drew!
Drew will be sorely missed in our community and the world. May Blessings abound to his family and friends.

I started at Wise, Cole & Pearlman in 1980 and worked there for 20 years through many name changes and staff changes within the firm. Drew was always the bright light and positive soul. He will surely be missed.

Half a century ago Drew and I were lifeguards together. I've seen him sprint into the lake, swim out and save a person's life, then climb back up onto the lifeguard's tower and take his seat like nothing happened. Our paths parted decades ago but I see him clearly in my memory. May you rest in peace Drew.

Teri, Alison, and Amanda,
Anne and I were so surprised and saddened when we learned of Drew's passing. Drew was a wonderful friend for so many of us in Dillon. It was wonderful to keep that going while we were in Charleston. Drew was such an influence in our group in Dillon, and an outstanding quarterback in football. We got into a little mischief, but nothing too outrageous...the stories I could tell. Drew's Dad was a wonderful teacher for me in both Chemistry and Physics. We feel a piece of us has been yanked away, too early...too early. Our prayers will hopefully give you strength to bear this loss. With Love, John and Anne Black

Drew would not have known me, but I used to babysit him and Jan when they were little. His parents were so nice. His Dad came back to First Baptist Church several times after he left Dillon. I always enjoyed talking to him there and learning about the activities of his children. He was very proud of his children. My thoughts and prayers are with Drew's family.

Teri,
I am so sad that I did not get another chance to visit with you in Charleston again. I wanted to see the many changes you and Drew brought to bear at the Meggett residence. I'll never forget that Drew was one of the very first to befriend me at Wake Forest and for that I'll be eternally grateful. Drew was so focused and provided a needed inspiration for me. I was another small town boy from NC and since we grew up in a neighboring area, I felt an affinity. Thanks for your friendship, my friend. Your smiling face, genuine laugh and positive character will be with me for the rest of my days. Rest in peace my friend,
Selwyn

Teri, Alison, and Amanda,
I know what it's like when a loved one passes before we're ready for them to leave our shared reality. It doesn't mean they cease to exist in our lives. Kindly, Sheri and Jane.

I worked with Drew at P-TEW and found him to be brilliant as well as charming. In the ten years I worked there, Drew was the only attorney who hosted the staff at a Christmas party at his beautiful home in Hollywood. I will never forget the view from that lovely place and his generosity towards us "underlings." He truly was a renaissance man.

Drew was one of a kind, always loaded with questions and comments so one really needed to be on their toes. He was fun, smart, and we’ll miss him.
