Andrew Caymol Obituary

Late putting an entry here for my nephew Drew. My son, your cousin Luke, misses you so much, he said you were his best friend .When you passed away his heart was shattered. I can not imagine the sorrow in his life since you have left.You're so badly missed by your dad Teo , mother Angie, sister Logan, and brother Matty. Every day they wake up missing you and would give virtually anything to physically see you and though two years have gone since you passed away , your absence has not left anyone's hearts. While we all know your spirit is in God's glory and His unfathomable Majesty and joyful presence ..... here on earth your absence has left all of our lives forever changed. It's unimaginable how you are enjoying Eternity ,that is an earth-moving thought , still your mom dad sister and brother long to be reunited with you one day. Drew, you left such an impact on so many people's lives. Your love for Christ was like an old soul and your friendships, writings and memories will forever be treasured by our entire family concerning Him... The last time I saw you, you and Luke were playing frisbee in grandma and grandpa's back yard and I remember thinking how much you looked like my brother ,your daddy, as you glanced over at me watching you and Luke. Until we see all see you again in the beautiful Eternal home of our Savior, I try to remember each day to pray for your mom, dad, sister and brother as they along with your granny and Papa and the rest of your mom's family miss you. I can't imagine your mom's pain because being giving birth to our children and being able to watch them grow up is one of the most treasured things in life we'll have the privilege to see ... And when that is interrupted, it leaves an indescribable agony and yearning only mommy's can understand... Until we see you again with Our Lord, you are still lovingly missed... My heart is heavy for you and your family today. Only those who have lost a child could possibly understand this loss. However, God has obviously added a very special angel, "Drew," to his heavenly home. While your hearts ache, Drew will be smiling down on all of you today as you celebrate his life, however brief it was. Beautiful memories will remain in your hearts forever.

My prayers are with you, Teo, Logan, Billy, Lynn, and other family members. My deepest sympathy to you. May God comfort you all with his warm arms as you move through this impossible time.

My deepest sympathies and condolences to your entire family for your loss. I was also saddened to read that my friend and shipmate Chief Mateo Caymol had also passed away. I served with him aboard the USS Cone, from 1972 to 1975. He was a good friend and super sharp sailor.

My heart is so heavy for your sweet family and Drew's friends. We will continue to lift you all up in prayer this weekend and Christmas season.

Reading about Andrew touched my heart. I can identify with his personality traits since I have an eleven year old grandchild. May your hearts be filled with joy knowing that Andrew lived a wonderful life surrounded by a loving family and caring friends.
