Andrei was a very dear friend to us. Although we lived at the same sity back in Siberia more so across the street from each other we met Andrei only at a time we came to America. He played a big part in the chain of events that brought us here. By meeting Frank, who called Andrei his Russian son, and introducing him to Siberia and the young children's theater studio from Novosibirsk, he sealed our fate.
We are forever grateful to Andrei not only for introducing us to Frank, but for the priceless advice and the tremendous support he gave us when we were just beginning our lives on this new continent. Andrei loved America -- and along with Frank , he helped us discover America...opening our minds and our hearts to many wonderful American traditions (summer BBQs, listening to Frank Zappa on a rainy evening, Bumbershoot in Seattle, enjoying great Seaside firework on the Fourth of July).
We will miss Andrei. Life will never be the same without him. But we will keep his memory alive, remembering Andrei as a wonderful friend, always willing to help and always giving good advice. He was one of those friends you could just count on. We will also remember him as a great father and family man (Juliana was his little sunshine and Stephanie made him a very happy man). We will also remember him as a caring and loving son to his late parents Evdokia and Ivan, who were very proud of Andrei's many accomplishments and, most of all, his big and his generous heart.
You were too young to leave this world!

Stephanie and all of Andrei's family and friends- Mark Knopfler never sounded so good. I will miss Andrei and hope that in his power you can find strength to live life to it's fullest. I will always remember Andrei.

We are from the same city in Siberia where Andrei grew up and it has been a privelege to call him a friend! None of us were ready for him to go. Rest in peace, Andrei.
