Cussie,
I am going to miss you dearly. One thing I am very glad of is that you came to my mother and fathers house in July after so many attempts to get you on the phone and you finally got my messages. Not knowing that would be the last time I saw you. I thank God for letting me spend that time with you, Lakeen and Tamara. It was a short time but we had a nice time.I will never forget our song "Drifting On A Memory". When we went to a party and they didn't have that record there was no party!!! Love you and miss you Girl!!!

Hearing of Cussie's passing left me not remembering at first who she was in our sunday school classes, but after talking to Valarie (aunt) and pulling up her photo, yes I do remember and I give Blondell, Troy & Buba and the entire family my deepest sympathy, may God give you the strength to accept that he cancelled our earthly plans to fufill his heavenly plan. It's not easy to accept but God never makes a mistake and whatever does not break us will help to make us, may God be with each of you. Our memories were at the Mt Carmel Pentecostal Faith Church 52 Amherst Street, Charleston, SC 29403

To the Davis family,
You will continue to be in ours prayers and may the Lord bless this family during this time. Family, weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Count this all joy knowing that she is not suffering any longer. The Lord makes no mistakes. Courtney Jr. is like a son to me and I just wanted to tell him and this family that we all need to hold on to God's unchanging hand and he shall direct our paths. I can't tell you not to cry but the Lord is able to wipe all of your tears away. May the Lord bless this family.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

At a time like this words can’t explain how I feel but just know this. Mrs. Andrea Cussie Davis is a loving person. She's like a mother to me and many more. Mrs. Davis was such a sweet person and always kept a smile on her face every time I saw her. She was very supportive of her family and friends. Although we know you’re in heaven smiling down on us we hate to see you go but we know God knows what's best for you. I Love you mom but God Love you best. May God Bless the family and friends.

Davis, McCoy family,
To my family Cussie is gone, and we will not let her be forgotten. God gave his only begotten son so that we may be free to sin. Aunt Blondell I know that this is very hard for you. You are women who know GOD and he is an AWSOME GOD. He has not given our family nothing more than we can bare. GOD knew what he was doing when he came and walk this earth and took our beloved Cussie away. God seen her heart was heavy and she need the rest, never doubt GOD because he only takes the best. What I say to the whole family is this. If we want to see the loved ones that have gone on to be with GOD don’t cry for them celebrate their lives because they are home with GOD. We must hope that we can get to that place. Take the time and do something that we help you get into the Kingdom. I love you all. We need to all be on one accord

To The family of Andrea

If we put our problems in God's hand, There is nothing we need understand. It is enough to just believe that what we need we will receive. Life is a mixture of sunshine and rain, Teardrops and laughter, pleasure and pain we can't have all bright days but it's certainly true there was never a cloud that the sun did'nt shine through!. Please remember God never sends the winter without the joy of spring and though today your heart may cry tommorow it will sing. God needed another angel in the kingdom so he chose Andrea, and she is in a better place, let us all try to get our business in order to be with her forever more.

The Davis and McCoy Families:
Please accept my deepest sympathy and condolences. Andrea and I worked together at CIGNA; Andrea was such a wonderful person, so full of laughter and just simply a caring and kind hearted person. Andrea would always talk about her children and how proud she was of them. Please continue to make your mother proud, she will always be there watching over you and guiding you through life’s journeys. Andrea’s big beautiful smile and her witty sense of humor will always be remembered. May God continue to bless you, keep you and give you the strength to make it through these most difficult times. Andrea is free now and following the path God has laid for her. Celebrate Andrea’s life and cherish all the memories; for Andrea is in a much better place now. No More Worries, No More Pain!
