Anastasia Billings Obituary

Anastasia Sideropoulis Billings CHARLESTON - Entered into eternal rest on the evening of July 5, 2010, Anastasia Diana Sideropoulls Billings, widow of LCDR Alfred James Billings, USN (Ret.). Residence, Charleston, South Carolina. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL Friday morning, July 9, 2010, at ten o'clock. Committal Services will be private in Beaufort National Cemetery. Mrs. Billings was born on March 20, 1920, in Norwich, Connecticut, daughter of the late Arisitotle Sideropoulis and Diana Fakaras Sideropoulis. She was a graduate of Norwich Academy and was a member of the Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity. Mrs. Billings was an avid reader, loved classical music, cooking and sewing. Surviving are her three sons, Peter Malcolm Billings of Encinitas, CA, Steven Michael Billings and wife Patricia of Sterling, VA, Andrew Wayne Billings of Charleston; four grandchildren, Anastasia, Nicholas, Kevin, and Amanda. Mrs. Billings was preceded in death by a son, Alfred J. Billings, Jr.; two brothers and a sister. A memorial message may be written to the family by visiting our website at www.jhenrystuhr.com.
