Amy Heinricher Obituary

Amy Idell Heinricher passed away August 11, 2010 at the age of 90. She was born December 18th, 1919 in Centralia to Clarence and Hazel Brines. Amy grew up in Centralia with her sister Betty Swedberg.
On May 6th, 1949 at the age of 29, Amy married Frank "Bud" Heinricher. Amy and Bud had a son and daughter, Von (Ann) Heinricher and Chris (Jerry) Blaser. They have 4 grandchildren, Luke and Lauren Blaser and Jake and Mahlia Heinricher.
Amy was the homemaker of the Heinricher home in Centralia for 61 years. Their home has been the gathering place for everything from Christmas dinners to summer afternoons on the back porch.
Amy loved to cook and bake, plan family gatherings, crochet, tell jokes and above all… share her interests with her family. Amy always had cookies, pies and jams to send her children and grandchildren home with. From crotched tablecloths to scarves and ornaments they were never in short supply.
Along with baking and making things for others, Amy also enjoyed planning family and holiday gatherings. Birthday's, Christmas', Thanksgiving's and Halloween's never past without Amy's full attention.
In addition to her family, she loved dogs and cats. Amy and Bud were never without a dog and she always had a cat on her lap at home.
Amy has always been someone we could count on in our life. We love her very much. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother to us all. We will miss her and always remember the great memories we had with her.
Amy's family would also like to say thank you to everyone who has helped care for her these past couple years.
Amy Idell Heinricher is survived by: Husband Frank Heinricher, son Von (Ann) Heinricher, daughter Chris (Jerry) Blaser; grandchildren Luke and Lauren Blaser, Jake and Mahlia Heinricher; sister-in-law Claire "Sis" McAllister (someone Amy could count on and was always there to help), many nieces and nephews and her beloved pets Dolly Babe the mule and Maggie the Airedale.
Service to be held at Newell-Hoerling Mortuary in Centralia at 1:30 pm on Monday, August 16th, 2010 Mountain View Cemetery in Centralia.
Donations to Lewis County Animal Shelter would be greatly appreciated by Amy.
