Amber Morgan Freeman HAMPTON, SC - Ms. Amber Morgan Freeman, 23, of Hampton died early Sunday morning in Fairfax. Amber was born January 24, 1991 in Beaufort. She was a 2009 graduate of Wade Hampton High School and was a member and Captain of the Wade Hampton Marching Band for six years. She attended Open Arms Fellowship Church and had worked as an Administrative Assistant for the South Carolina Department of Health & Human Services in Barnwell. Surviving are her parents: Brian and Angie Freeman of Walterboro and David and Rhonda Johnson of Hampton; maternal grandparents: Wayne and Judy Moore of Islandton and Janet Moore of Hampton; paternal grandparents: Gene and Juanita Freeman of Brunson, Tom and Co Ellen Vest of Nashville and James and Rita Banks of Walterboro; two brothers: Hunter Johnson of Raleigh, NC and Keith Freeman of Walterboro and one sister: Lainey Johnson of Hampton. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 19, 2014 at 2 PM in Open Arms Fellowship Church; 402 Hoover Street, North; Hampton, SC 29924, with burial in the Johnson-St. Paul Cemetery in Hampton. Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, September 18, 2014 from 5 until 8 PM at Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home, located at 300 Mulberry Street, West; Hampton, SC 29924 (803-943-3352) and on Friday until 1 PM, when the casket will be placed in the church prior to services.
