He and his wife, the late Alice Fay Nelson Ginn of Indiantown, SC, were married for 64 years. Over the years, he was president of a number of hunting clubs, as well as a coach of recreational baseball and football on the Isle of Palms. After moving to Mt. Pleasant, the Ginns moved their membership to the First Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant, where he served as a former deacon. Prior to that time, he served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of First United Methodist Church on Isle of Palms, and oversaw the renovation of the sanctuary and parsonage after Hurricane Hugo. I am sorry for your loss.

Al was the president at Bluff Hunt Club when I was a member back in the early-90's. I remember him as a incredibly nice guy and good hunter who always placed safety first. He also placed great value on each member having a good experience and tried real hard to put you where the deer were. I will always appreciate the memories of my hunts at Bluff.
