I am so sorry to learn of Alton´s passing. His dad, H. A. "Pappy" Felder, hired me at Eastern Airlines in 1963 and was my mentor during the early years of my 27 years career at EAL. The Felder family were great Americans and I am so grateful to have known them. RIP Alton. Earl Copeland

I'm very sorry to hear of Alton's passing. Went to school with him and played football in 1963/64. He was one of a kind. A gentle person of the field but tough as nails on it. Test in peace my friend

So sorry for your loss ,I remeber him only as a small boy when his father was the station manager of EASTERN AIR LINES where my husband Danny worked for 25 years and his mother was a great lady I still own a copy of her book on phonics which she gave me some many years ago . Alton was like a big brother to me during my years on Johns Island. I know he's overjoyed to be reunited with his mom and dad, and of course Marty and my dear friend Ellen! Love and prayers to the entire Felder family.
