Allene Pierson Obituary

PIERSON, Allene Entered into eternal rest on the evening of November 8, 2007, Allene Woodard Pierson, widow of Thomas R. Pierson, Jr. Residence, Charleston, South Carolina. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services at the graveside, Live Oak Memorial Gardens, Tuesday morning, November 13, 2007 at ten o'clock. Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, Monday evening November 12, 2007 from six until eight o'clock. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice. Mrs. Pierson was born April 17, 1921 in Greensboro, North Carolina, a daughter of Cliffard R. Woodward and Sally Alston Woodard. She was a charter member of St. Mark United Methodist Church, a member of the United Methodist Women, former Sunday School Teacher, and former Children's Sunday School Superintendant. Mrs. Pierson was a homemaker. Surviving are her son, Thomas R. Pierson, III of Charleston, SC; a grandson, Thomas R. Pierson, IV of Charleston, SC; two sisters, Birdie Proctor of Conway, SC and Ginger Wilson of Millington, TN.
