Alicia Conyers Obituary

Alicia Davis Conyers, 60, of Manning, SC, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 18, 2025, at a local hospital. A devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and respected former office manager at SouthEastern Medical Transport Service, Alicia will be remembered for her quiet strength, compassionate heart, and deep love for family. Born on May 25, 1965, in Macon, Georgia, Alicia was adopted by William "Bill" Davis and Sylvia Davis Parrott. She was raised in the Protestant faith and enjoyed a childhood filled with swimming, movies, and treasured time with her siblings. With the loving support of her grandparents and her beloved Aunt Gena, Alicia grew up surrounded by care and encouragement. Her life journey led her from Macon to Sumter, SC, where she built her own family and found joy in the simple pleasures of raising her children. Alicia's later years were filled with the laughter of grandchildren and the companionship of extended family, which she held close to her heart. In recent years, she reconnected with her birth roots, discovering the identity of her biological parents only to find there were deceased. Alicia was preceded in death by her adoptive parents, her stepfather Byron Parrott, and her birth parents. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her three sons: Chris Weaver (Jennifer), Hunter Conyers, and Brandon Conyers, all of Manning; her brother Lawrence Davis (Cindy) of Bonaire, GA; stepsisters, Lorie Sanders (Tim) of Lexington, and Patricia Boulware of Summerton; stepbrother, David Mankin of Santee; and her adored grandchildren, Caroline and Dylan Weaver. She is also survived by extended family Donna Ridgeway, Megan Ridgeway, Sam Ridgeway, and several nieces and nephews.
