To the Freeman family,

Please know that our hearts and prayers are with you in your time of sorrow.

I met Alfreda after joining St. John and although I only knew her for a short while she made me feel like we had known one another for years. Alfreda would often call or send me an email just to say “hello, I haven’t forgotten about you.” She was unselfish that way, she was my friend. The evening bus rides from work will not be the same without her. But what I cherish most is that in every conversation, Alfreda always said “be encouraged.”

So I say to you “be encouraged!” God is with you.

To Rev. & Mrs. James & Elizabeth Coaxum & Family
Our hearts are in sorrow with you as you mourn the loss of your loved one. Although it is not easy, be encouraged for "when our dying bodies have been transformed into bodies that will never die, this Scripture will be fulfilled:
“Death is swallowed up in victory; O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?”
We love you and are praying that God will continue to strengthen and comfort you and your family through your time of bereavement. Love,

To the Family and Brenda,
I remember Brenda and Freda coming to my home late one night in Savannah,Georgia. "I just wanted you to meet my sister, Freda", Brenda said.
I instantly admired her warmth,"down to earth disposition" and smile. She asked for some item I had on my table and I said "Take it". Even though it wasn't all that to me, Freda beamed. Brenda and I were just talking about that about two weeks ago, even though we couldn't remember what the item was.
Go with God, Freda. Heaven and Peace awaits you. I have a brother up there who will instantly know you are a Freeman with a garden in South Carolina.

Freeman & Bush Famly

When someone close to us is taken from us suddenly the pain sometimes seems more than we can bear. And yet, with time our memories grow more precious, and we come to realize that those we've loved live on within our hearts. I'm sorry to hear about your loss.

My deepest sympathy to the Freeman-Bush families.

Alfreda 's loving spirit will always be remembered. She touched my life as a part of the St John AME family in Fairburn GA. There are many adjectives one could use to describe Alfreda, but the ones that will remain in my memory and heart are gentle and quiet, warm and sincere, friendly and caring and most of all a professed love for our Heavenly Father.

Psalms 23;4 .......your rod and staff will comfort me.
