It's been 7 years since our first day together. 3 weeks later I knew I loved you. God gave us a short time together and I'll always be thankful for that. But what I wouldn't give for one more day.its been almost 3 months since you left us. I miss you more every day. No one makes me laugh like you could or irritate me like you could. I don't look forward to Fridays like before. The weekends aren't the same
Without you. This is not what we planned but God is helping me and I know you're there with him which gives me the comfort and strength to go on. i miss you. Your friends at school have been so good and of course James is looking after me. Our friends at church have been faithful. I don't know what I'd have done without my faith.

Luanne,I justread the news that Al passed away last Friday. I am shocked and saddened at this news. He was a good friend to me at XES. He could always make me smile no matter the kind of day I was having. We had such a good time with our crazy antics. I am very sorry for your loss. Please give my condolences to Rhynne. Although I had only met Al once while sitting in LuAnne's hair salon almost eight years ago, I got to know him through LuAnne. As LuAnne's client & friend, we've chatted during my monthly salon visits. We'd chat about our children, our grandchildren and especially about our spouses. Whenever LuAnne mentioned Al, it was always with a sweet smile, a kind word and a little giggle at times with a bright gleam in her eyes. I loved hearing about their wonderful life together. I pray the amazing love they shared will give her the strength to endure. May God Bless!

Dear Luanne and family,
Our sympathy and prayers to you and your family. We will miss Al's friendly waves 'hello' as he worked in the yard, determined to grow grass there, or sitting on the swing, or chasing the dog down our way, eventually using his truck. He was always upbeat and encouraging to my kids and addressed us all like family. We are thankful for knowing him and his kindness. May God be with you during this difficult time. Words cannot express how sorry I am. Al was an incredible person. He made such a great impression on my son, Dylan, when he really needed it. I will never forget how happy I was to find out him and Luanne were together. What a wonderful couple. He will be missed by so many and we are all blessed to have been touched by him.

I just learned of Mr. Young's passing. My mom called to tell me, and I'm stunned and deeply saddened. Mr. Young was my 7th grade pre-algebra teacher back in 1999-2000. His class was one of my favorites. Mr. Young had a talent not only for making math approachable and fun, but also for making each of us feel successful. He was a kind man and a devoted educator, and this loss is keenly felt by anyone who had the privilege to know him.

From our family to yours, we offer sympathy, prayers and gratitude for all that Mr. Young did. He was one of our daughters all time and favorite teachers. He was a great teacher, and he also managed to care about and have fun with his students. Olivia will particularly always remember his sense of humor--not to mention how eager she always was to go to his class. What a tremendous loss! Again, our prayers and sympathies are extended to his family, friends and colleagues.

Please accept my deepest condolences with the passing of Mr. Young! He was a great man; always encouraging to his students, always smiling and pushing us to do better. Our hearts are greatly sadden of the passing of such a dear man. Mr. Young taught our children at WVM with great enthusiasm and creativity with the importance of earning the grade instead of just getting by. His smile was always contagious, you couldn't help smiling back. His encouragement always made you feel that you are a champion as long as you're willing to work for it. He touched the lives of so many and will be greatly missed.

Mr.Young was a great man who impacted my life is so many difference ways. I always looked up to him with greatness. He was more than a teacher he was a father figure.His jokes and laughter will truly be missed and remembered.

I read the news today that good friend and fellow teacher Al Young passed away last Friday. I am hurt and angry that such a good man was taken before his time. I was fortunate enough to teach on the same team at Westview Middle School for several years. We shared more laughs and good times than any teachers could imagine. He was a skilled and compassionate teacher. He had my back and I had his gladly. I remember the day he told he had married Luanne and it was with such joy I could only feel the same joy for my friend that he was lucky enough to find the great love he found in Luanne. I was thinking of him this morning and was going to send him some things for the coming school year. Only minutes later did I receive the message he was gone. I will miss you Al, my old friend. My life was better for having known you.

Praying for you and your family, Luanne. Al was a great friend of mine at SMC and also Lander. We shared a suite at the latter and he's someone I always thought alot of. We reconnected on Facebook a few years ago and it seemed like yesterday to us. So sad to hear. Lifting you up.

Al was a great teacher, friend and baseball coach. He will be missed. Praying for your comfort during this difficult time.

I am beyond heartbroken. You were truly one of the most caring and wonderful people I ever knew. From coaching me in softball to teaching me at Westview... You loved what you did and it shined through all of your students and players. You will be so very missed but I know you are now looking down on all of us with that contagious smile on your face. Mr.Young wasn't just a teacher, he was a mentor, a friend & someone you could always go to advice for.. And He taught me and my classmates of 2014/2015. We are so beyond blessed to have had him as a math teacher. He will be truly missed, thank you for all of the many fun times we shared in class & all the jokes about " hump day."
