Alfred Carl Lukow CHARLESTON - Alfred Carl Lukow, 74, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Linda Sports Lukow, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, February 26, 2013. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, March 1, 2013 in the Charleston Baptist Church, 13 San Miguel Road at 11:00 am. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in J. HENRY STUHR, INC. WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL. Alfred was born August 14, 1938 in Allentown, Pennsylvania, son of Alfred and Marie Lukow. He was a veteran having served with the United States Marine Corps. He was a retired Laboratory Technician with St. Gorbain. Alfred was a member of Charleston Baptist Church and the Charleston Parachute Club. He is survived by his wife, Linda Lukow of Charleston; daughters, Donna L. Beard (Rodney) of Charleston and Kim Adams of Porterville, CA; brothers, Eddie Lukow of Charleston, Terry Lukow of Hebron CT, Larry Taylor of Summerville, and C.L. Taylor of Lakeland, FL; and four grandchildren, Cameron, Matthew, Kyle and Alicia. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5900 Core Road, Suite 504, North Charleston, SC 29406.
