To Alfreda and family:

I was saddened to hear of the passing of your father. He was such a kind man and he just adorned his little girl. I know how much he will be missed. I pray that the memories of your dad will help you all in the days ahead. I will continue to pray for you and the family. May God continue to bless you all.

At first I was saddened about Mr. Esau passing, but then I came to the wonderful realization that he is NOW is walking and talking with our Lord -- in the very presence of our Lord!

I have never met such a warm, considerate, and gentle spirited man as Mr. Esau. I first met him when I was a little girl and he was working on a job with my Father, Charlie Dangerfield. He seemed to have such a Godly radiance all around him that reached to you before he did! I am thankful to have had the privilidge of meeting Mr. Esau and his beautiful wife.

God gives us Christian examples within the people in our very midst to remind us of His love. We must stop and "see" this realization.

May God's perfect peace and comfort be with each family member at this time.

REJOICE!, because of his life, Mr. Esau has received his ultimate healing -- being in the very presence of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ!!

My sincere condolences to the family of Rev. Esau. I knew him from delivering his Post & Courier newspaper in Summerville. He was quite the gentleman and very kind.

He will be missed.

Reverend Esau was a kind man who absolutely loved life, and embraced it wholly. I can remember a wonderful spring Saturday on his porch not too long ago talking about family history and hidden stories from the past. We laughed and promised to continue our conversation. Someday, I hope to laugh with him again.
