I was saddend when I saw Alex in the newspaper. Although I only knew him for a short while, when I played softball at Carson Park, He made a great impression on me, he was always a very friendly and happy person. Every once in a while I think back to those days at the park, and remember his wonderful smile. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

We sadly send our condolences to the Huerta family.
I always remember Alex as the guy I looked up to when when we played baseball at Carson Park. He was the best I ever played with (sorry Alfred). He used to put fear into whoever would step into the batters box and try to hit one of his fastballs, and they usually struck out. I spoke to my father this morning (coach Henry who now lives in North Carolina) and he also sends his condolences.
Remember the good times;
Mike
