Albertha McNeil Duval GOOSE CREEK - The relatives and friends of Mrs. Albertha McNeil Duval are invited to attend her Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 11:00 AM in St. James Presbyterian Church, USA, 1314 Secessionville Road, James Island, SC. Interment - St. James Memorial Gardens, 1981 Grimball Road, James Island, SC. A public viewing will be on Friday, July 14, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Murray's Mortuary - North Charleston Chapel, 4060 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC. She will lie-in-state on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the hour of service. Mrs. Duval leaves to cherish her memories: her children: Ophelia (Rodney, Sr.) Stokes, Deacon Travis (Deacon Bernadette) McNeil, Tanya McNeil, Edward W. Duval, Jr., Vera (Jerome) White, Reverend Andrea (the late Reverend Leonard) Moore and Deacon Cary (Wilhemina) Richardson; 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; siblings: Mary McNeil, Rosa McNeil, Oliver (Idella) McNeil, Jr. and Clarence Richardson; godson, Leonard Moore, Jr. (Rhonda); and a host of other relatives and friends. Sorry about the loss of your mother.I worked at the veteran hospital several years with Bertha.Always kind and helpful .We worked the Evening Shift.She was a wonderful nurse.May God bless and keep all of you.Just know that earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal
