Albert Snedeker Obituary

SNEDEKER, Albert Albert W. Snedeker, 78, of Ladson, loving husband of Helen P. Snedeker for 59 years, died Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at Trident Medical Center. A memorial service will be held Friday, December 5, 2008 at 10 o'clock at St. Luke's Lutheran Church. Inurnment will follow in the Columbarium at St. Lukes. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to St. Lukes Lutheran Church, Organ Fund, 206 Central Avenue, Summerville, SC 29483. Al was born January 25, 1930 in Carbondale, Pennsylvania, son of the late Milo and Minnie Rigby Snedeker. He attended schools in Carbondale, Pennyslvania. He loved railroads and model trains. He retired from the Federal Railroad Administration and was a member of St. Lukes Lutheran Church. Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters and one son, Linda Machtel and her husband James of Ladson, Michele Hamby of Victor, New York, Michael Snedeker of Saratoga, NY and Lisa Evans of Raleigh, NC; eight grandchildren, Krista Hakim and her husband John, Matthew Tanzini, Anthony Tanzini, Kelly Hamby, Erika Edson, Sarah Hamby, Jessica Bozzelli and her husband William and Cailyn Evans; three great-grandchildren: Lauren Edson, Liam Bozzelli and Sophia Hakim; one brother, Milo Snedeker of Carbondale, Pennsylvania.
