CHARLESTON - Albert Leon Martin, 84, of Charleston, SC entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 18, 2026. The Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at New Zion RMUE Church on 4607 Dorsey Ave, North Charleston, SC 29405. The Funeral Service will be immediately following beginning at 11:00 a.m. Mr. Martin is survived by his wife, Lillian Martin; children: Leon Nathaniel Martin, Jr.; LaShaunda Hall Smith (Corey) and Micheal A. Jackson; stepchild: Diedra S. Richardson; grandchildren: Corey Smith, Jr., Ashlyn Smith, Dashaun Smith, Brandon Smith, Jaylen Smith, Sha'Mya Jackson, Diceon Jackson, Deion Jackson, Kylee Jackson, Zahmir Jackson, Laila Ballard; siblings: David Blackmon (Deborah), Juanita McMullen (Phillip- deceased), Madalene Martin Howard, Allan Smith (Janette) and Michael Anthony Martin (deceased). He will be laid to rest at St. James Memorial Gardens in James Island, SC. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.palmettomortuary.com.
