Joe, Elizabeth, and the boys

Carol,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

We will miss our impromptu chats with 'Mr. Alan' and Taffy, as well as the anecdotes, positive words, and encouragement on raising our boys he'd share during these visits. I've always remarked to Elizabeth that Alan was cut from the same cloth as her father--another true southern gentleman.

His booming voice and rich drawl, along with his sharply-dressed and crisply-pressed presence will live long in our memories.

You know that we are right here if there is anything we can do.

God Bless.
