We were related by the marriage of our children, but Al always treated me like an honorary Parker. He could seem gruff at times on the outside, but he was a big softie with the personality of a teddy bear at heart.
I will miss his kindness, his thoughtfulness, his caring nature, and his wonderful sarcastic sense of humor. Rest easy Al, your work here is done. Your spirit will live on in the hearts of Pat, your children, and your beautiful granddaughters. I will miss you...

Al and I were originally co-workers, and we developed a fast and deep personal friendship that included our wives and lasted nearly 30 years. We watched each others children grow up and bless us with grandchildren, and we cherished every opportunity we had to spend time with Al and Pat. Al was a devoted husband and father and loyal friend that fought a brave battle for many years. We'll miss his wonderful sense of humor and the love he always showed his family.
Rest in peace, dear friend.
