Alan Charles Bauman Summerville - Alan Charles Bauman, 51, of Summerville, SC passed away in an automobile accident on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at approximately 1:45 a.m. near Ridgeville, SC. A Memorial Service will be Sunday afternoon, May 22, 2016 at 3 o'clock in Parks Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be private. Flowers will be accepted. Alan was born March 6, 1965 in Commerce, GA. He moved to Summerville in 1972, as his father was transferred from Naval Station in Jacksonville, FL to the USS Trumpetfish SS-425, which was then moored at Naval Base Charleston. He was a graduate of Summerville High School, and served a tour of duty with the United States Navy. He moved to West Palm Beach, FL in 1993, where he became a Master Craftsman concentrating on High End Trim for homes. Alan returned to Summerville in October 2015 to help his parents after the death of his younger brother, Andrew. Alan is survived by his parents, A.C. and Faye Bauman of Summerville; 2 daughters, Elizabeth Faye of Summerville, and Chelsie Nicole of Courtland, OH; his fiance;, Tammy White of Summerville; aunt and uncle, Susan and Dennis Wright of St. Augustine, FL; 2 great aunts; a great uncle; and 3 first cousins.
