Al Lewinsohn Obituary

Al Lewinsohn CHARLESTON - Al Lewinsohn, age 82, of the Bronx, N.Y. and Charleston, S.C, and all-around animal lover, has passed away. He was the bass singer on the hit doo wop song "Zoom Zoom Zoom" by the Collegians. His long and varied career also included his time as the logistics manager for Conde Nast Publications, business owner, entrepreneur and volunteer. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Barbara, his son, daughter, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren. He will be laid to rest on April 13th at 1:00 at Beth David Cemetery in Elmont, N.Y.
