Ailean Linton Goose Creek - Ailean Revels Linton, 91, of Goose Creek, SC, a homemaker and wife of the late James W. Linton, Sr., departed this life 2/15/21 at home surrounded by her family and beloved dog. Ailean was born on July 24, 1929 in Pembroke, NC to the late Donnie Revels & Leona Brooks Revels. Ailean was married on May 19, 1951 in Charleston, SC. She was a resident of Goose Creek for 59 years, having moved there in 1962. Ailean was licensed as a cosmetologist in 1950 and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her hobbies included baking, sewing, interior decorating, gardening, cutting hair and shopping at Belks and QVC. Ailean was a proud member of the Lumbee Tribe of Pembroke, NC Ailean is survived by her son, James W. Linton, Jr. of Moncks Corner, SC, daughter, Annette Kreck and husband, Ken of Moncks Corner, SC, granddaughters, Melissa A. Linton of Charleston, SC and Rebecca A.D. Ormond of Mount Pleasant, SC, grandson, Sam C. Linton of Mount Pleasant, SC, great-granddaughter, Alaina G. Linton of Summerville, SC, great-grandson, Christopher J. Ormond of Mount Pleasant, SC, brothers, Jerry Revels of Pompano Beach, FL and Donnie Revels, Jr. of Pembroke, NC, sisters, Mary Revels Joyce of Red Springs, NC and Margaret Revels Locklear of Laurinburg, NC and her beloved dog, Holly. She was preceded in death by brothers, Edvian Revels, Chester Revels and Gaylord Revels and sisters, Kathleen Revels and Cora Revels Oxendine. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2021 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Carolina Memorial Park, Funerals & Cremation located at 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406. 84-797-2222.
