Aiken Still Obituary

Great Friend, Classmate and Teammate.

Andy Still Family,
I was saddened to learn of Andy's passing at a far too early stage. Andy and I attended Barnwell Public Schools where his father taught many of us farm kids to be more productive in our farming techniques. The last opportunity I had to speak with Andy was a few years back at a Barnwell Super 60's reunion. At first it was hard to recognize Andy as he was sporting a full beard and before that was many years back where his hair was much shorter and clean-shaven! Andy was a warm, caring person who always had a welcome smile and warm greeting for all. I will never forget my friend and what he meant to me and a multitude of others. May God bless and guide each of you as you transcend this loss of a such great, benevolent man.

Emily, Kim told me of Andy's death. Although I didn't know him personally, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

We a were so sorry to be reading this Andy was a friend of Alice and mine over 33 yrs.ago. We just lost track after we left Columbia. We loved him dearly. We accept our condolences. Our prayers are with all if you.

I never really got to know him, but he always looked so sweet and happy in his pictures that he just had to have been a terrific guy! I don't have the words to express my sadness at the all too early loss of our dear friend Andy. He was such a kind hearted and generous soul. He had a laugh that arose from his heart and the warmest, friendliest smile. He welcomed all. He will be sadly missed. My heart goes out to Emily and his children. Blessings on you and on Andy's soul.
