A loving woman of God and Mother in Christ. You will be missed here on Earth but Jesus welcomes you.

It was with deep regret to learn of the death of Evangelist Griffen, a true woman of God. She was a Christian Warrior who gave of her service unselfishly to all of God's children. My siblings and I will forever be grateful for the care she rendered to our mother who passed in 1973. REST IN PEACE - WE LOVE YOU

I extend my deepest condolences and sympathy to the Griffin family during their time of grief. Mother Griffin was a woman of God and stead fast in the glory. May the family take things one day at a time the healing process takes time. Just have comfort knowing she is in God's hand now. Although she will be greatly missed she is at home and in peace.

To the Griffin family from the Williams and Webb family: You all are in our prayers. Since the 1970´s, We´ve always enjoyed fellowshipping with you all. I especially loved to see your mom coming in the church as she praised God while cutting a step for Jesus. Over the years as you all celebrated her birthday, I was honored to give a word of encouragement as we reflected on past memories. Mother Griffin has been a blessing, a strong encourager, and a gem to the body of Christ! She loved praising God and would want you all to continue to do the same. You will see her again. Aunt Mae how can I every explain?? Our relationship was like NO other! You always listened and told me how proud you were of me. I was raised in your church (which I thank my grandmother for). You always called me as if I was one of your own. My grandma told me every time we spoke to "call your Aunt mae!" It might've taken me forever but I called! You had just told me on December 10, 2020 that you weren't ready to go. We shared memories and you praised God on the phone as I was thanking you and Grandma for training me up in the way! You were always proud of me, just didn't like my hair..lol. I gave you before anyone else because you were appreciative! Sorry I ate all of your Butter Almond ice cream..lol I love you Auntie and I'm glad I at least look like you with this big red face. I can honestly say that THIS IS THE HARDEST SINCE JOINING THE US ARMY IN 2001. I WILL APPLY THAT DISCIPLINE AND TRUTH THAT YOU INSTILLED IN ME SO THAT YOU REMAIN PROUD OF ME...IT MAY NOT BE SOON AUNTIE, JUST KNOW THAT I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU AGAIN
