I was lucky to move next door to Rita and Abe in 1982. They have been wonderful neighbors. I borrowed their ladder regularly and I was given a cup of sugar or an egg when needed. They gave me the PeeWee football pads that Joey and Gary used as boys; these were for my foster son and I needed all the help I could get. They kept my house key and would get the mail and newspapers when I was out of town. Abe gave me more than one ride to work when my car wouldn't start in the mornings. Abe was a good man. And I am thankful that I knew him.

Through the years, I always enjoyed being in the same gatherings with Abe, whom I cant picture without a sweet smile on his face. He was a source of calm and pleasantness to his family and all who were lucky enough to know him. Loving and humorous, he adored and was adored by his family. He will be missed.
