Abbie Huggins Obituary

HUGGINS, Abbie Entered into eternal rest on the evening of May 3, 2008, Abbie Vivian Sessions Huggins, widow of Noah W. Huggins. Residence, Hanahan, SC. The relatives and friends of Mrs. Abbie V. Huggins are invited to attend her funeral services on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL at Eleven O'clock. Interment, Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Huggins was born November 15, 1911 in Conway, SC the daughter of John Marion Sessions and Delphia Godbolt Sessions. She was of the Methodist faith but most recently attended First Baptist Church of North Charleston, where she enjoyed Sunday School and Bible Study. Mrs. Huggins was a true daughter of the Confederacy. Her father served with Company B, Manigaults Artillery Battalion. She is survived by; two daughters, Iris Brown and her husband, Cleon of Hanahan, SC and Margie Mohrfeld and her husband, Charles of North Charleston, SC; one step-son, Hank R. Huggins and his wife, Sheryl of Loris, SC; four grandchildren, Steven Brown and his wife, Lynn; Renee Frye and her husband, Eric; Michael Mohrfeld and his wife, Patty and Keith Brown; two great grandchildren, Caroline Aneskievich and Morgan Frye; two step-grandchildren, Carla Cox and Tonya Huggins; two step-great grandchildren, Justin Cox and Morgan Cox. She was predeceased by one sister, six brothers and a grandson, David Mohrfeld. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of North Charleston, 4217 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406.
