To the family of the wonderful late Dr. Aaron Johns, on behalf of myself Elsie Jimerson/Peaches & Milton Gardner, we would like to take a moment and remember Dr.Johns as our friend, business partner. He was always cheerful, humble, knowledgeable and extremely great to talk to. We really miss your voice and presence! Family & friends of Dr. Johns, keep your head up, prayers never stop! He will always be remembered in a loving and caring manner! God bless you all! Gone but never forgotten! ❤

Dr. Johns...we just found out now, 3 years later, that you left this world. Came as a shock! You were the best doctor any parent could ask for. You delivered my son. You were the first person he saw. He took his first bottle from you. He loved his check ups with you. He's 22 now and you've become an inspiration to him. You showed us what a true bedside manner was. You helped him though every illness, every hospital stay. You will always be a part of Colin's child hood. We are heart broken but take comfort that you have eternal peace.

My prayers are with the family. He delivered my youngest son. He use to tease me saying I was either pregnant or dying because those were the only times I came in. He was a good doctor and a nice person. I'll miss him telling me that everything that was wrong with me was due to my lack of water in take. He will be missed.

When I first moved to Indiana years ago he became my kids doctor he was a great doctor ,great man to know my heart goes out to you an family you will be missed . he use to tell me that my son daden you watch him because he was very curious an he ask Aaron johns a million questions you will be missed. We are sad to hear of his passing as we had laughed and joked with him just this past June 1st at a meeting in Indianapolis. He was hilarious. Dr. Aaron Johns came into my family's lives years ago when daddy was in the hospital and his previous doctor was no longer seeing patients there. Of course, we were unaware of this at the time - a nurse informed us after we constantly asked for the physician. Dr. Johns stepped in, and it was a perfect fit. He blended well within our family; he saw that my sister and I were, in his words, "like bear cubs protecting the patriarch," making sure he knew everything going on with dad and demanding nothing but the absolute best care. He honored and respected that. He also said this to my sister about my protection over daddy - having witness at times how irate I could be with a nurse or a fill-in doctor who thought less of my daddy - "Lisa is worse than you are about Robert!" LOL. Again, we impressed him over time. And he blended well with the family humor and light moments, especially when the humor came from daddy. He, along with his family, were also fellow church members at Israel CME; how blessed was that? To have the family doctor fellowship in the same church as one of his patients? He also looked after me whenever I was ill and, up until his transition to eternal life, he checked on me during my current health issues that started in late April. Finding out details through my sister or when I felt able to attend a church service, he'd hug me and listened as I whispered my progress to him. The DeNeal family is grateful for Dr. Aaron E. Johns; he was a true physician in every aspect and a dear and beloved friend.

It is with great sadness that I write these words, Dr Johns was more than a doctor, but a friend. His compassion for his patients was remarkable. Mrs Johns my heart is heavy for you and your family and I pray God's peace and comfort be with. In deepest sympathy. Miinister Robin Walton, Mr Robert DeNeal and Ms Lisa DeNeal.

Our God -- Father of All Spirits has summoned another soldier home saying "good job faithful and loyal servant!" I love and will miss his physical presence...he was a friend, mentor, former colleague and Lodge Brother (Steel City No. 68, PHA). Doc was a true gentleman, scholar, comedian, and many more synonymous words that describe his beautiful character and personality. He most definitely left a great legacy!
