We are working every day to improve the lives and outcomes for individuals living with Alport syndrome. As the Executive Director, a patient myself and parent of a patient - please know that we are making advances in research and in helping shape clinical trials to explore potential new therapies for our rare kidney disease. I did not know Aaron Diamond. I was acquainted with Aaron's father, Gary Diamond, as a former Goer/New Directions employee. However, I heard many stories of the shenanigans. Courtney and Avea, I am so sorry for your loss. I watched the lovely memorial service online and am so inspired by your family's strength, grace, and dedication to one another. Thank you for encouraging gifts to Alport Syndrome Foundation in memory of Aaron. These gifts help us invest in research for potential therapies or a cure, and sustain our efforts to educate and support patients living with Alport syndrome.
