On August 14, 2025, we lost Eva Fowler due to a sudden bilateral stroke.
Eva was born on April 14, 1983, in Beckley, West Virginia, to Sarah French. She was the heart of her family. Married to Jack Fowler for 25 years, together they raised two sons, Matthew and Jack.
Eva was the kind of person who made every gathering brighter. She was the fun aunt who made holidays special with her legendary chocolate and homes sparkling with lights. She spread joy throughout her neighborhood and beyond.
A devoted and hardworking woman, Eva and Jack built their own lawn care business from the ground up. Eva always went the extra mile to make sure every customer was happy.
She had a smile that could light up a room and a heart that made everyone around her feel loved. She cherished her three fur babies, her morning coffees with Jack, fishing, and time spent at the family cabin up north. Sunflowers, family gatherings, and special moments with her nieces and nephews were among her greatest joys.
Eva leaves behind her loving husband, Jack Fowler of Remus; sons Matthew Fowler of Remus and Jack Fowler of Remus; mother and stepfather Sarah French and Michael Henderson of Rodney; brothers Michael Henderson (Shanna) of Rodney and Patrick Henderson (Brandy) of Davison; cousin/brother Steven Dickson of Rodney; sister Amanda James of Big Rapids; and many beloved nieces and nephews: Kristopher James, Kearstin Mata, Brooklyn Henderson, Ariel Roberts, Austin Henderson, Riley Henderson, Michael Henderson, Liam Henderson, River Henderson, Gemma Henderson, and Kruze. She is also remembered with love by her three fur babies, who were a constant source of comfort and joy.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother Brenda Bellinger of Remus, grandfather Frank James of Remus, and aunt Frances Bols of Remus.
Eva's warmth, love, and laughter will be missed dearly but remembered always by those who were blessed to know her. Celebration of life August 30th 1 p.m. Mecosta VFW HALL 1050 west Main Street, mecosta, MI, 49332.
