A Life Well Lived……..

Kamika Benjamin-Keitt, departed this world peacefully on November 26, 2025 at the age of 44. She was a wife/mother/sister/friend whose love, compassion, and kindness touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Kamika was born on June 30, 1981 in Orangeburg, SC. She grew up in Holly Hill, SC and attended Greater Unity A.M.E. Church at an early age. Kamika was a proud graduate of Holly Hill Roberts High School, Class of 2000. She attended Claflin University where she obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biology with a Minor in Chemistry. She then furthered her education at Strayer University where she received her Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration. Kamika was the Quality Control Manager at Pioneer Frozen Foods in Prosperity, SC until her health began to decline. While working, she was always known for her dedication, intelligence, and unwavering work ethic. As an impeccable individual, she was the heart and soul of her family, always providing guidance, support, and an endless supply of love.

She was the "PINK WARRIOR" and took great pride in advocating for breast cancer awareness and giving back to her community. Her selflessness and generosity knew no bounds, and she leaves behind a legacy of service and love.

Kamika is survived by husband Willie Corie Keitt and Son Braylon Keitt who will carry her memory in their hearts forever. Parents-Priscilla (Clifford) Sumpter, Father-Theodore Jamison. Brothers: Clifford (Winston) Sumpter Jr. and Shawn Washington. Sisters-Phylicia (John) Griffin and Fylita Benjamin, Grandma-Carrie Benjamin. Mother In Law-Glendora Callum, Brother In Laws: Maurice Keitt, Rodney (Stacy) Keitt and Trevin Keitt. Sister In Law: Sharease (Chris) Hoover. Uncles: Clarence (Evelyn) Benjamin, Felix (Barbara) Benjamin, Freddie Benjamin, Lionel (Della) Thomas and Jerry (Karen) Keitt. Aunts: Charlotte Jamison, Apostle Katie (Allen) Little, Brenda (Wallace) Gavin, Diane Bryant and Sherlene Brown. God Son-Elijah Mack; Best Friend-Gevette Washington. Host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She may be gone from our sight, but her love and the lessons she imparted will remain with us always. May she rest in eternal peace!
