Frances Marie Frasier Howard, 79, of
McClellanville, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest on March 13, 2026. She was born on September 1, 1946, to the late James Lee Frasier Sr. and Emily Blake Frasier.
Frances was a woman of strength, style, and unwavering honesty. She was known for speaking her mind with love and conviction-she said what she meant and meant what she said. She had a deep love for fashion and always dressed to impress, carrying herself with grace and confidence wherever she went.
For many years, Frances worked in daycares, where she found great joy in teaching and nurturing children. She loved playing games, singing songs, and helping young minds grow. Her love for children and her warm spirit left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered.
Frances found happiness in life's simple pleasures. She loved cooking for her family, fishing-often saying, "I'm going to play in the water"-as well as crabbing, shopping, and taking cruises. She was an active and devoted member of her church, where she served faithfully as an usher and sang in the choir.
One of her favorite sayings was, "Hasty bread is never done," a reflection of her belief in patience and taking the time to do things right.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Willie James Howard Sr.; her devoted son, Willie James Howard Jr.; her cherished grandson, La'Quan Rashaad Howard; her parents; and her siblings, Benny Frasier, Jane Frasier, Theresia Ward, (her and Frances shared the same birthday) and James Lee Frasier Jr.
Frances leaves to cherish her precious memories her loving granddaughter, Latoya (Chuck) Fulton, who will miss her tremendously; her great-grandchildren, Carlysia Howard, Miracle Young-Howard, Xavier Fulton, Royal Fulton, and Reign Fulton; her daughter-in-law, Ida Howard; her siblings, Queen (Samuel) Nese of Charleston, SC; Princess (Jeremiah) Barfield of Tabor City, NC; King E.
