Candy Wedgeworth Throckmorton, 68, passed away on February 3, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 8, 1957, in
Peoria, Illinois. Services are pending at this time.
Candy grew up in Timpson and graduated from Timpson High School. She was a very crafty person and loved crafting of any kind. Candy had a love for children and that was shown through her ministry at Sillwaters Cowboy Church. She was a faithful member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
Candy was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her children and grandchildren with her whole heart. She spent most of her years traveling with her children and then later on with her husband and grandchildren. Candy and Jerry were at every sporting event that Timpson played. She was very devoted to her grandchildren and made every extracurricular activity they were in. Colorado was her favorite place to travel to. Candy and her family made many special memories there.
Her husband, Jerry, of over 20 years was the love of her life and they did everything together. She traveled with him while he was working for the railroad and that holds many special memories for the both of them. Three years ago, Candy was reunited with her biological family. She surprised her brother, Harold, at his 70th birthday and what a rejoice that was! Since then she has gotten to know her siblings and that has been the talk from her for the past 3 years! She was so happy to finally find them!
