Benny VanCleve Obituary

Benny Joe VanCleve Jr. passed away on Monday, December 23, 2024. He was born on August 14, 1948 in Blytheville Arkansas to the late Benny Joe VanCleve Sr. and Ethel Mae VanCleve. He was a pipe fitter and aircraft mechanic at Boeing South Carolina. In the Army National Guard for 6 years.

He will be remembered as a loving and dedicated husband, brother, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Also, a caring friend and co-worker. He loved fishing with all his heart and liked to play golf and go to stock car races!

He is survived by his wife, Karen VanCleve, his sister, Reefie Marconi (Mike)of Proctor,Arkansas. Son, Benny Joe VanCleve III (Laurie) of Littlerock Arkansas. Step-children, Cathy King, Debra Guerry(Brian), Jason King (Michelle) and Polly LaLonde (Richard).

His grand-children loved him and he loved and supported them through all the softball, football, wrestling, basketball and golf matches! He was the best PaPa ever!

Grandchildren, Alex King (Hannah), Logan Guerry, Riley Guerry, Karmen King (Michael), Garrett King, Kaydence LaLonde and Camden LaLonde. Great grandpapa to Lee King. Many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Benny Joe VanCleve Sr and Ethel Mae VanCleve of Jonesboro, Arkansas.

A celebration of life will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to the National Kidney Foundation and or American Diabetes Association.
