WINNIE WILSON Obituary

WILSON, WINNIE B. - age 97, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2014. She was a member of Meridian Baptist Church, Knoxville, a housewife, and had worked with South Young High during the 1970's. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Burns (1942 - 1960); second husband, James Wilson (1978 - 2003); parents, Kimsey Whaley and wife Mintha; brothers, Zell, Roy Dot, Gene, Bon, and Ben Whaley; and twin sister, Illa Bogle. Survivors: brother, Paul Whaley; sister, Faye Newman; nephews, Bart and Bret Whaley, and Don Newman; nieces, Marta Whaley and Nancy Newman; special friends, Tommy and Ruth Morissey. Funeral service 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, in the Seymour Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home, with Pastor Dana Fachman officiating. Interment to follow at Chilhowee Cemetery.
