Dear Dottie and Family,
Martha and I want to express our sincere sympathy on your loss. Carson was a beautiful human being. Our years together in graduate school at Maryland and the Naval Ordnance Laboratory were among the highlights of my life, he was my friend. We are so sorry we didn't get to say goodbye when you left Williamsburg. Our thoughts are with you.
