Willie Norton Deal
NEW ELLENTON, SC - Willie Norton Deal, 89, husband of Myrtle Sapp Deal, died Monday, March 23, 2015 at his residence.
A native of Bristol, GA, Willie was a son of the late Remer T. and Alice Brewton Deal. He proudly served his country during World War II and was a veteran of both the U.S. Army and Navy. He had lived in Aiken County since 1952 and was a retired mechanic with E. I. DuPont at the Savannah River Plant. Willie was the owner of New Ellenton Heating and Air. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and was a member of Talatha Baptist Church.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, Myrtle, include two daughters, Debra Eaves
(Terrel), Aiken, Alisa Arbaugh (John), Bluffton, SC; a son, Dewayne Deal (Laura), Aiken; seven grandchildren, Erinn Weakland, Emily Pesta, Kirby Arbaugh, Andrew Deal, Alex Deal, Abby Deal and Sydney Arbaugh; three great-grandchildren, Cecylia Weakland, Tripp Pesta and Ray Pesta; two brothers, Alton Deal and Leo Deal, both of Bristol, GA. He is predeceased by his brothers Wallace, Henton, and
Clayton Deal and his sisters Thelma Scott, Mae Colquitt, France Harris, and Clara Jones.
The family will receive friends Friday, March 27th, beginning at 1:00 PM at
Talatha Baptist Church followed by the funeral at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery. The Revs. Dr. Henry L. Chennault and William Eaves will officiate. Pallbearers will be Andrew Deal, Alex Deal, Kirby Arbaugh, Kenny Sapp, Bennie Deal, Chris Deal, Talmadge Ogden and Mike Sapp. Honorary Pallbearers will be
Alfred Wright, Carl Hendrix, Jesse Cook, Dennis Adams, Kenneth Martin, J. V. Wynn, Bill Eaves, Tom Eaves, Mark Pope, Gary Miller, Jesse Moyer and the Deacons of Talatha Baptist Church.
