I was so sorry to hear of Bill's passing! I always enjoyed our talks when we were neighbors in Lake Carolina! Bill and I shared a love of dogs and his love for Foster was boundless! Bill will be missed and was one of a kind!

I did not know Bill Turner . . . . but, after reading his obituary, I know I would have liked him. Foster, too. God bless Bill Turner. The world needs more Bill Turners.

Bill was a good friend and avid supporter of Georgia Tech. He served with many of us in support of our local club serving on the steering committee for many years.
His kind demeanor, great counsel and wonderful spirit will be missed!
Our thoughts and prays goes out to Bills wonderful family!

He was a friend for some 55 years, all through school and I never knew him to not be smiling. An Aiken High School reunion will never be the same. Fly high, Tojo.

We were shocked and saddened to read of Bill's passing. I had seen him just a few days earlier walking his friend Foster. We met Bill when we moved into Lake Carolina 13 years ago. We liked him immediately as he was a no nonsense guy who told you straight what he was thinking. He wasn't concerned whether you liked his opinion or not. It was his opinion so deal with it. He was also a very kind person. Bill will surely be missed in our community. We have lost a few neighbors and all are missed buy none more so than will be Bill. Our most sincere condolences to the family.

Bill was a kind man who loved to ride around in his Georgia Tech golf cart through our neighborhood with Foster lounging in the back. He served on the HOA Board with me and we got to know each other very well. I truly enjoyed his sense of humor. I will miss seeing him walking Foster, and I will miss chatting with him on the phone from time to time. We always had great converations about sports, politics, food, and he always had a "good joke" to tell me. Rest in peace my friend.

So thankful for becoming better acquainted with Bill when we worked together on our Aiken High Class of 1962 reunion. Every visit in person or via phone was fun and meaningful.

Bill was my friend. I loved him and he loved me. We worked together for many years and did some outstanding work for Bethlehem Steel Corp. for way too long. There was no task or assignment that Bill would not accept. His performance was exceptional and a model for many to follow. Many times I would look to Bill for inspiration as I think we inspired each other. His motivation and "possibility" thinking was easily recognized by many of his peers. Bill's list of friends was a mile long. His steel customers loved him and relied on his industry knowledge guidance. Bill was the most devoted Ga Tech fan in the world. Gosh, how we would respectfully spar with each other as I am a Georgia fan. We shared a mutually advanced sense of humor that most people could not comprehend. Masterful facial expressions in boring meetings was our specialty. He was the champion. I will miss my dear friend very much.

Our friend Bill was one of a kind. He would keep you in stitches ever minute you were around him. It would be just like him to want to be stood in a corner with Jack, or at least he would tell us that. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
