Tad was one of the good guys, a true gentleman. I'm proud and honored to have been one of "Tadpoles girls" and will wear my T-shirt proudly. RIP my dear friend, you will be sorely missed.

Tad was a classmate of ours in high school. Then he went to the Citadel with Mike. We made many a trip from North Augusta to Charleston during those years. When we heard of Tad's death, we were heart-broken and both talked about him being the nicest, kindest man we ever met. The world is a poorer place now. We are thinking of his family and praying for you and Tad. So sorry... Love, Cora and Mike Driver

I am sorry to hear of Tad's passing. Because our last names were Smith, we ended up sitting near each other in several classes. I have fond memories of teasing other classmates that we were siblings. He was such a fun and kind person. I know he will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

So sorry to hear of Tad's passing. We first met at St. Mary's thru Kenny's kindergarten class and cub scouts. We enjoyed including him in many of our celebrations after we left Bayonne. Tad was a kind, smart, and classy guy. Rest in peace!
