William Saddington Obituary
AIKEN - WILLIAM GEORGE SADDINGTON, JR., 70, beloved husband of Georgeanne Marinan Saddington, died Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at his residence.
A native of Baltimore, MD, William was a son of the late William George Saddington, Sr. and Miriam Kuntz Saddington. He served in the U. S. Navy during Vietnam. He was the owner of Saddington Construction for over 25 years and worked as superintendent for a commercial construction company for 17 years. He retired to Aiken from the Baltimore area 4 years ago.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, Georgeanne, include four children, Ashley May Saddington Olsen Potthast (Tom), Gainesville, VA, Whitney Barbusca (Troy), Lancaster, PA, Colby Bauersfield (Scott), Aiken, Brent Saddington (Melissa), Kings Park, NY; seven grandchildren, Claire, William, Joseph, Anna May, Miles, Drew, Jack; a sister, Elizabeth Kuntz Moore (Richard C.), Joppa, MD.
A Celebration of William's Life, with Military Honors, will be held Sunday morning, August 20th at 11 o'clock at the home of Rhett Riviere, 541 Two Notch Rd., Aiken, SC.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Life Choices Pregnancy Center, 1900 Whiskey Rd., Aiken, SC 29803.

Georgeanne, we learned of Bill's passing by sheer happenstance, and we were so surprised, saddened, and sorry. We regret that we lost contact with you both over the years, but we'll always remember the good times we had together while we were in each other's lives. Bill was such a lovely man. Georgeanne and family, so sorry to see fb with this sad news. We'll miss Bill's dry sense of humor and our trips together. So glad we went to Saddington, England last year. He was a wonderful guy and will be sorely missed. Our love to all of you.
