AIKEN - It is with great sorrow that the family of William Thomas Ashmore Parrish announces his unexpected passing on October 19, 2023. He was born on March 2, 1973. William is survived by his wife, Chasity Hope Parrish, his children Dakota (Brook) Ashmore Parrish, Katrina Lynn Parrish, Dalton Michael Parrish and stepson Anthony James Lee. William is also survived by his sister, Lisa (Jon) Ashmore Parrish Meszaros, his stepfather, Jerry (Rita) Leland Carter, stepmother, Linda Parrish, and beloved aunts, Beth Ashmore and Martha Ashmore Burton.
William's father, Kenneth Warren Parrish, and mother, Sara "Sally" Ashmore Carter, preceded him in death.
William attended Midland Valley High School where he played football. He later pursued higher education at Augusta College and then served in the Army. He was very proud of his military service. In his career, William worked at Graniteville Company and later as a Pool Technician, where he was an expert in his field. He was known for his charm and humor and will be greatly missed.

I have wonderful memories of Wil growing up and starting his family. I was lucky to have Wil as my Stepson living with us from 6th grade until 10th grade. We enjoyed watching his football games. I remember his first Prom. He took a girl who lived at the Air Force Base. It was quite the feat to get through security to pick her up. This picture is his Senior picture. I'll remember him like this for
all time.
