William Burns Obituary

Mr. William Edward Burns, 71, of North Augusta, SC, entered into rest on September 25, 2025. Born in Aiken, SC, he was the son of the late Willie Edward Burns and the late Cleo Greene Burns He is preceded in death by his two sisters, Lois Jean Goldman and Lorine Burns Burdette. William enjoyed NASCAR, going to Myrtle Beach, and playing the lottery. His favorite thing was being an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan. William is survived by his two children, William James Burns(Jaime) and Tabitha Danielle Burns(Brandi), grandchildren, Austin Chuffo(Leah), Hunter Burns, Emma Burns, Gracie Burns, and Lynley Bowen-Brown, brother, Jerry Burns(Pam), nieces, Cathy Goldman(Susan), Kerry Harris(Phillip), Sherry Todd(Jason), nephew, Michael Goldman, Charles Hughes(Sherry), Jerry Burns Jr(Michelle), and fourteen great nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 28th, 2025, beginning at 2:30 PM, at Restore Church, 2739 Jefferson Davis Highway, Graniteville, SC 29829. A Celebration of Life will follow beginning at 3:30 PM.
