Thank you Dr. Beranek for your sound instruction back in the late 1970s in my doctoral program. You taught me so much and I've always been grateful. I'm so pleased I was able to visit Dr. Beranek just a few short weeks ago in May. First time since the late 1970s that I had seen him. We had a great lunch and discussion of a variety of topics. My condolences to the Beranek family. He will long be remembered.

Dear Beranek Family:

Bill was a friend and colleague and we will miss him. He was mild-mannered but strong in his beliefs about economic and finance theory and research.
With deepest sympathy,
Joe and Joanne Sinkey
