William Allen Obituary
REX, GA - Homegoing Celebration for Mr. William Allen, Jr. of Rex, Georgia will be held Friday, August 24, 2018, 11:00 a.m. at Beulah Missionary Baptist Church, 2340 Clifton Springs Road Decatur, Georgia, Pastor Jerry D. Black, officiating. Interment, Monday, August 27, 2018, Georgia National Cemetery Canton, Georgia. Remains will lie repose from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 to 7 p.m. at Legacy Chapel, 8968 Fayetteville Rd., Jonesboro, Georgia. Survivors are his loving wife, Mrs. Delores Byrd Allen; one son, Vincent E. Allen (Vicki); daughter, Felisha R. Allen; three grandchildren, Avi Allen, Karma Allen and Xavier Allen; sisters, Janie Stephens, Beverly Ashley (William), and Patricia Williams (Larry); brother, Clarence Allen (Shirley); and a host nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church 10:45a.m.
