Wiley R. Rollins
Aiken - A celebration of life service for Mr. Wiley R. Rollins, age 86, will take place on 2:00 pm Friday February 5, 2021 at Solid Rock Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Robert Skelton and Rev. Dr. Dewayne Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Aiken Memorial Gardens with military honors. Mr. Rollins entered into rest on Tuesday February 2, 2021 at NHC Health Care North Augusta. He was the beloved husband of 65 years to the late Mary Kilpatrick Rollins and the son of the late Paul Rollins and the late Louise R. Rollins.
He was a native of Louisville, GA, but had made Aiken his home for most of his life. Mr. Rollins was a member of Warrenville Church of God. He retired in 1995 after 45 years of service for the Graniteville Company as a mechanic in maintenance. Mr. Rollins served his country in the Army National Guard. His hobbies included feeding birds, hunting, gardening, and going to the mountains and the beach.
Survivors include: one son Tony R. (Laurie) Rollins, Aiken; three daughters, Linda R. (Joe) Lott, Aiken, Kathy (Harvey) Lishka, Aiken, Vickie (DeWayne) Anderson, Aiken; two sisters, June Parker, Georgetown, Joyce Cochran, Cayce; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Mr. Rollins was predeceased by two brothers, Austin and Robert Rollins. Pallbearers will be Ryan Reuber, Adam Benton, Daniel Lott, Brandon Lishka, and Larry Nipper.
In lieu of flowers the family has suggested that memorials be made to Warrenville Church of God 130 Simonds St Warrenville, SC, SC 29851. Due to the covid-19 situation mask will be required and social distancing will be observed. The service will be live streamed on the Cole Funeral Home Face Book Page. A visitation with the family will take place at the church starting at 1:00 pm until time of service.
