Walter Sizemore Obituary

Mr. Walter Laverne "Pete" Sizemore, 80, of Burnettown, SC, entered into rest on Monday, September 8, 2025. A lifelong area resident, he was the son of the late William and Janie Sikes Sizemore. He retired from the Woodhead Division of the Graniteville Company. Pete enjoyed being outdoors. Pete is survived by his only son, Rodney Laverne Sizemore, and his former wife and still friend, Rose Marie Morgan. Friends will be greeted by the family on Friday, September 12, 2025, beginning at 1 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Highway, Graniteville, SC. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2 o'clock in the chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Pastor Rick West will officiate. Interment will follow in Langley Cemetery, Langley, SC. Arnoldo Maldanado, Bobby Hollowell, Randy Gagnon, Ronnie Sikes, and Jason Sikes are honored to serve as pallbearers.
